  • You should pass tests in propedeutics for both semesters (and your record book should be appropriatly signed).
  • You should be permitted to pass examination by the Dean's office: your name should be in examination list (ведомость) and there have to be a stamp "Допущен к сессии" in your record book.
  • The Chair of propedeutics should have your final case record, checked and signed by your teacher.
  • You need to be dressed properly (doctor's smock, slippers or indoor shoes).
  • You have to take with you a pen, a compass, dermograph, measuring tape and phonendoscope. You may have a simple calculator. No other electronic equipment (mobile phones, communicators, PCs) is allowed at examination!

  • Assessment of the heart rhythm and conduction:
    • regularity of heart beats
    • heart rate estimation
    • determination of the pacemaker
    • assessment of conduction
  • Assessment of the heart electrical axis position
    • position at the front plane
    • position at the horizontal plane
  • Analysis of the atrial P wave
  • Analysis of ventricular complex
    • assessment of QRS complex
    • analysis of RS—T segment
    • analysis of T wave
  • ECG conclusion




Examination will consist of two stages:

  • Written, at which you will have about 80 questions of following types:
    • Multiple choice questions.
    • Matching.
    • True or false.
  • Oral/practical, at which you will get a question card with 4 practical skill, that you have to demonstrate and supplement, including:
    • Total blood count.
    • General urine test.
    • General sputum or feces test.
    • ECG.
    • Typical clinical case.

For each of these items you need to indicate what features are abnormal (i.e. signs), block them in syndromes and suppose, what disease is present (nosology).
